At The Yardspace Co., many of our products are large outdoor structures that ship directly from manufacturers or distribution partners. Because of this, shipping timelines, freight carriers, and delivery methods can vary depending on the product and destination.

We aim to make the process as clear and smooth as possible.


Order Processing

Most orders are processed within 1–5 business days.

Some made-to-order, custom, seasonal, or high-demand products may require additional processing time before shipment.

If an item has an extended lead time, we will do our best to communicate updated timelines as quickly as possible.


Shipping Methods

Depending on the product size and manufacturer, orders may ship using:

  • Standard parcel carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS)

  • Less-than-truckload freight (LTL)

  • Specialized freight carriers

  • Manufacturer direct delivery

Large structures such as sheds, pergolas, gazebos, garages, and pavilions typically ship via freight.


Shipping Coverage

We currently ship to most locations within the contiguous United States.

At this time, some products may have shipping restrictions for:

  • Alaska

  • Hawaii

  • Puerto Rico

  • Remote or limited-access areas

If delivery limitations apply to your location, we will contact you before processing the order.


Freight Deliveries

Freight deliveries are different from standard package deliveries.

For many large products:

  • Delivery appointments may be required

  • Someone may need to be present to receive the shipment

  • The carrier may deliver curbside only

  • Drivers are generally not responsible for assembly, placement, or debris removal

Please review product pages carefully for any delivery-specific details.


Delivery Access Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible for freight trucks.

Limited-access locations may include:

  • Narrow roads

  • Gated communities

  • Dirt or gravel roads

  • Steep driveways

  • Areas with low-hanging branches or overhead obstructions

Additional carrier fees may apply for special access situations.


Inspecting Your Delivery

Please inspect all deliveries carefully upon arrival.

Before signing for freight shipments:

  • Check packaging for visible damage

  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt

  • Take photos if damage is present

If concealed damage is discovered after delivery, contact us as soon as possible.

Prompt reporting helps us work with the carrier and manufacturer more effectively.


Shipping Delays

While we work closely with our suppliers and freight partners, shipping delays can occasionally happen due to:

  • Weather

  • Carrier scheduling

  • Seasonal demand

  • Manufacturing delays

  • Supply chain disruptions

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

We appreciate your patience when unexpected delays occur.


Tracking Information

Tracking information is typically sent once the order ships.

For freight shipments, tracking updates may be more limited than standard parcel services.

Some freight carriers may contact you directly to schedule delivery appointments.


Missing or Lost Shipments

If your order appears lost, delayed beyond a reasonable timeframe, or missing items upon delivery, please contact us and we’ll help investigate the issue with the carrier or manufacturer.


Installation & Assembly

Most products sold by The Yardspace Co. require assembly.

Assembly services are generally not included unless explicitly stated on the product page.

For customers who prefer professional assistance, we recommend Thumbtack.
